I have been working on this for soso long. I loove this game and I’m so excited for getting ro play it on my switch !!
This is my first proper attempt on having a dull drawing qith landscape in it, and the first attempt with pixel art in a while ??? There are some mistakes and stuff that could have done better, but generally I’m super happy with it!!
Hyper Light Drifter is a very good game and I recommend it to everyone :D
Origionally I was going to get Hollow Knight, but then I saw the beutiful pixel art for THIS game on steam.
So I had to choose: I could get Hollow Knight, a game which I know mostly everything about, or I could risk it and get a game I know nothing about.
In the end I decided to bite it. I really like Hyper Light Drifter, it’s a good game.
Decided to see how the beginning potions (and the Bland Potion) looked in the new sprite style I’m trying out! Have to say I really like it, makes them look a lot rounder and cute. I’m pretty happy with these and don’t think they’ll change, at least not that much, so for now these can be considered the updated sprites.
Hope you guys like them! I know it’s a little different style than the original but it definitely helps time wise. These still look good without making me spend a crazy amount of time on each one so it gives me a little more leniency if I want to do other stuff with them like make more than one sprite or animate them. It’s a lot more practical!
Alright, finally got them all wrapped up! Sprites for all the final stages of each of the beginning Potions. Thanks for hanging in there with me! It was definitely nice to see some of these designs finally get into sprite form and I’m pretty happy with them! There might be slight adjustments here and there but overall I think these are here to stay. I also included the sprites at their normal size at the bottom! Hopefully tumblr doesn’t eat those up too badly.
